NYC, NY: Star Hookahs is bringing a new hookah to the city for a limited time in its latest venture into the electronic lounge scene.
Star HookAHolic is opening its doors to patrons and customers at its new space at 1025 Market Street in Manhattan’s Upper West Side neighborhood on Wednesday, March 18.
The venue, which will feature hookah lounges like The Pong Lounge and The Black Cat, will feature a fully-licensed hookah bar with over 30 different strains of hookah as well as a lounge area that will offer food, drinks, and a lounge room for patrons.
The hookah is expected to launch its limited service on Friday, March 20, according to Star HookAlicia CEO and founder Mike C. Davis.
The lounge will also feature a separate VIP lounge area and a rooftop lounge with views of the New York City skyline, Davis said in a statement.
Star HookAHolics will be offering a range of cocktails from the likes of the Banger and the Vibe, along with a selection of local and imported flavors, Davis added.
Cameron and Star HookAAlicia will be hosting a meet and greet with customers before the launch of the lounge on Thursday, March 21.
A menu of drinks will be available as well, and patrons can pre-order the new hookahs online for delivery to their homes.
Star hookah enthusiasts will be able to purchase a pre-owned hookah for $99, with the option to upgrade to the most exclusive version for $159.
The price of the most expensive version is expected at $2,000, and upgrades are not available for pre-orders.
Calls to StarhookAlicias phone number were not immediately returned, but the lounge’s Facebook page posted a message on Monday, March 11, that said, “We will be open until 10pm on Tuesday, March 14th, to welcome you to our newest space in NYC.
The lounge will have hookah machines for sale and for guests to use.
We are excited to be opening our doors to you!”
