A video featuring a young boy in a tropical setting playing with a Hawaiian hookah is making waves on social media.
In the video, the boy is seen drinking a bowl of water and talking to a large man.
He says he likes the way the water tastes, saying “I can’t wait to try it.”
The video has been shared more than 2.4 million times since being posted to Instagram on Sunday.
The video, which was taken in June 2017, has been viewed more than 1.6 million times on Facebook.
It has also been shared by celebrities, like Katy Perry, Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber and Drake.
On Tuesday, the video went viral after it was shared by The Sun newspaper.
“The boy’s name is Noah and he’s 15,” the caption reads.
“He was born in Hawaii.
The father was born there.
The mother was born here.”
The boy was also wearing a Hawaiian shirt and said “Oceans” in Hawaiian.
“I love the way it tastes,” Noah told The Sun.
“It’s like the most delicious way of drinking water.”
In the caption, the photo captioned, “We’re so happy to be here with you, baby,” was shared more by the boy’s mother.
“We know you’re a very special little baby, Noah,” the father told Noah.
“You’re a beautiful little boy.”
Noah told ABC News on Wednesday that he was disappointed by the video and was planning to delete the video.
He added that the video was taken a couple years ago.
“Noah and I don’t always get along, but I’ve never said I wasn’t going to post it,” Noah said.
“When I was a little kid, I thought it was the most perfect thing to do and now it’s like, ‘What are you going to do?’
I didn’t think it was going to go viral.”
The captioned photo caption said the boy “loved the way” the bowl of Hawaiian water tasted.
The boy’s father said Noah is a “beautiful little boy” who is “very special.”
“I’m glad that Noah’s father, Noah, saw it and shared it, and that it’s making the news,” Noah’s mother, Danielle Hidalgo, told ABC.
“My heart just goes out to Noah and his father, because I think he’s devastated.”
In a statement, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration said the video is “unintentional and inappropriate.”
The agency did not immediately respond to ABC News’ request for comment.
“Ocean” has become a hit in the video-sharing app.
In August, a photo of the boy in the Hawaiian shirt was shared nearly 1 million times.
“A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to meet the Oceans star, Noah and the whole family,” the photo said.
