WASHINGTON — The hookah bar that hosted a party for about 100 hookah smokers in New Jersey went awry on Saturday.
The incident happened on the beach of a residential beach near New York’s Rockaway Beach.
The hookahs were being set up and the fire started at around 3 p.m., police said.
They are investigating.
No one was injured in the blaze.
